My book club chose this last month. You can tell why this work has endured.
Exactly what I was looking for. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. Some archaic spellings slow things down.
Needed this for my research. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. Well worth it.
Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. Would buy from this store again.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Every rereading turns up something I missed. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
