This exceeded my expectations. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Five stars from me.

Ordered this after seeing it referenced in another book I was studying. Every rereading turns up something I missed. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected.
